Founded in 2018 at Toulouse-Francazal Airport, AURA AERO is a next-generation aircraft manufacturer built on a digital-native foundation, developing innovative solutions to meet the evolving challenges of the aviation industry: sustainability, safety, and sovereignty.
Founded by three engineers, Jérémy Caussade, Wilfried Dufaud, and Fabien Raison, the company combines technological excellence with a commitment to advancing more sustainable and higher-performance aviation.

AURA M is the defense division of AURA AERO, dedicated to developing innovative aerospace solutions for armed forces. Leveraging the industrial and certification capabilities of an established aircraft manufacturer, AURA M designs and produces aircraft, unmanned aerial systems, and digital solutions that meet the operational requirements of modern missions.
Through rapid prototyping capabilities, a design-to-cost approach, and the integration of advanced technologies such as innovative propulsion systems, fly-by-wire controls, and intelligent embedded systems, AURA M supports armed forces in the development of next-generation air superiority capabilities, from requirements definition through to operational deployment.
AIR MENUISERIE
Air Menuiserie is the only organization approved by both EASA and the FAA to perform BK repairs, an exclusive technique that reinforces wooden spars through the addition of carbon fiber. This rare expertise, mastered with the highest standards of precision and craftsmanship, places Air Menuiserie at the forefront of artisanal innovation serving the aerospace industry.
As a key contributor to the production of the INTEGRAL aircraft range, Air Menuiserie leverages its wood-carbon expertise to enhance performance and safety. Committed to passing on its know-how, the company also plays an active role in training the next generation of aeronautical carpenters, ensuring the continuity of this exceptional craft.

Air Menuiserie est le seul organisme agréé par l’EASA et la FAA pour la réparation dite BK, une technique exclusive de renfort des longerons en bois par adjonction de carbone. Ce savoir-faire rare, maîtrisé avec exigence et précision, place Air Menuiserie au cœur de l’innovation artisanale au service de l’aéronautique.
Acteur clé de la production de la gamme INTEGRAL, Air Menuiserie met son expertise bois-carbone au service de la performance et de la sécurité. Engagée dans la transmission des compétences, l’entreprise participe aussi activement à la formation de nos menuisiers aéronautiques, assurant ainsi la pérennité de ce métier d’exception.

Rapid prototyping and development
AURA AERO benefits from strong rapid prototyping and development capabilities, enabling the company to design, test, and refine new aircraft architectures in close alignment with operational requirements. This technological agility is a key driver of innovation, helping accelerate development cycles and de-risk industrial decisions ahead of serial production.
Serial production and production ramp-up
AURA AERO relies on an established industrial base, anchored by its Toulouse-Francazal facility and complemented by its U.S. operations, to support the production of its aircraft. The company is also developing two new 50,000 m² industrial facilities, designed to integrate modern, highly automated, and robotics-enabled manufacturing capabilities.
This industrial strategy is designed to efficiently support serial production across AURA AERO’s programs while enabling production ramp-up at scale, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality, performance, and safety.
